The theatre is nearly back, with the best theatre shows in London for you to enjoy. Who else can’t wait to get back to watching a show. While eating and drinking way too much on a night out?

I’m so excited to get back to watching the shows. I already had Tina booked for 2020 but couldn’t get there. Very happy to know that Tina Turner the musical has been extended.

Now the only decision is do we catch the afternoon show? Then go out for dinner and drinks or catch the evening show and go out first? Decisions, decisions? What ever you decide Theatre Tickets Direct have you got covered.

My absolutely favourite thing to do is catch the afternoon show. Followed by dinner and drinks and finish with the comedy club in Leicester square.

Here is a list of the best theatre shows in London for 2021. You do not want to miss them.

  1. Wicked – It’s the story of the wicked witch from the wizard of Oz, which shows the other side to the story of her life. Absolutely brilliant. Returns to the London Apollo Victoria Theatre on the 15th September 2021

3. Joesph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat – Not only is it back from the 1st July 2021 at the London Palladium, it’s back with Jason Donovan! This award winning family favourite is absolutely brilliant and will have you singing for hours after.

4. The Lion King – This show is absolutely magical and if you’re thinking of taking your children to the theatre for the first time, then this is the one to take them too. The costumes are unreal and the music and is just beautiful. The Lion King returns to Lyceum Theatre from 7th September 2021.

5. Phantom of the Opera – It’s definitely worth paying for the better seats for this one, as you get so drawn into it that you don’t want anyones head getting in your way. Probably one of the most famous theatre shows and with good reason. This story will keep you gripped from beginning to end and then you’ll want to go and watch it again. You can watch from the 27th July 2021 at Her Majesty’s Theatre.

6. & Juliet – & Juliet is a creative and rare idea about what if Juliet did not commit suicide after Romeo was poisoned, and decided to rewrite her own destiny. With a catchy long list of songs from the back street boys to Bon Jovi, this is one show you will not want to miss. You can catch this one at the Shaftesbury Theatre from the 24th September.

8. Matilda – The story of a five year old genius that has to live with awful, uncaring parents. Matilda uses her unique gifts to look after herself and spend most of her life at the library before finally going to school where her life changes for the better. Absolutely brilliant and not surprisingly has won a whole list of awards. Matilda will be back at Cambridge Theatre in London from the 16th September.

9. Only Fools & Horses – If you love Only Fools & Horses then this is one for you. This hilarious musical comedy takes you down memory lane from the hit 80’s show and will not disappoint. Showing back at Theatre Royal Haymarket from the 1st October 2021.
